Mother said, "Would you like to go to Grandmas?" Linsay said at once, "Oh yes, Can I, can I??"' Mother said, "Yes, we will go on Saturday."My grandma's is chocolate chip cookies, rocking chairs, and milk with chocolate sauce in it. My grandmas is flowers along the walk, and lilacs in the house. My grandmas is the spicy smell of cinamon, cloves and also lavender.

"I love to go to Grandmas," thought Lindsay as she snuggled in her bed that night. Saturday, Linsay was up early. She began to put her nightclothes in her little red plastic bag. Also her favorite doll "Penny" and Penny's clothes too. She hummed a song that she had just made up, It was called "Going to Grandmas, going to Grandmas".

Her mother looked in and laughed."You're ready early." she said. "Oh, yes," Linsay Ann replied, "Let's go..' By the time they arrived at Linsay Ann's grandmothers Linsay could hardly sit still. "There's grandma"' she exclaimed as the door opened and Grandma came down the walk. Grandma took Linsay's hand, her red bag, and said to Linsays' mother,"See you tomorrow night."

Linsay Ann skipped up the walk. She watched a butterfly land on the lilac bush. She opened the door herself a was in Grandma's house. It smelled baking cookies, roses, and spices al at once. Linsay Ann spent all morning exploring the garden, the apple tree, and her favorite hiding place, under the lilac bush.

"Time for your nap, granama called. "Will you lie down with me?" Linsay Ann replied. "Of course, said grandma, its time for my nap too." Grandmas' big bed had a lovely handmade quilt on. It was all sorts of colors and shapes and bits of material. As they lay there Linsay Ann fidgeted and fussed with the quilt.

Grandma said, "Is your name Mrs. Wigglebox?"

"No,"giggled Linsay,"my name is still Linsay Ann."

"Then please stop fidgeting about and go to sleep Mrs. Wigglebox, and when you do I'll call you Linsay again." said Grandma. Finally Linsay was quiet and stopped moving around and fell asleep. And so did Grandma. By Sunday evening when her mother came to get her Linsay Ann had three new names-Mrs. Wigglebox, Mrs. Chatterbox, and MrS. Skip-a-Round, and she loved them all.

Christmas Cheer

Take a little christmas cheer, For the season of love is here.

If God is love then is it true? Love is God-and so I wish for you,

Life and love and all things good,

To come your way for God is here,

In our hearts and minds so clear,

Hug all those you hold dear,

And take a sip of Christmas cheer.
